Day 1. Begin each morning during your Lighthouse Inn stay with a delicious breakfast, including Stuart’s famous biscuits, before heading out to explore Tybee. Visit the historic Tybee Island Light Station and climb to the top of the lighthouse for a spectacular view of the island, Little Tybee, the Savannah River, and Hilton Head, SC. Tour the Head Keepers house and the Tybee Island Museum for a complete history of Tybee and Ft. Screven. Enjoy lunch at the North Beach Grill, located next to the museum.
Time for Breakfast!
Schedule an afternoon Dolphin Tour with Captain Mike to view up close the Cockspur Lighthouse, and the Tybee Lighthouse. You will cruise past the shrimp boats, docked at Lazaretto Creek Marina. Count the dolphins as they swim next to and follow the boat.
Enjoy dinner at one of the local island restaurants. Most specialize in local seafood. After dinner, take a stroll on the beach to catch the sunset.
